I founded Clarity Risk Advisors in 2025 after more than 25 years in private equity & insurance, including the last 14 years as Managing Director and Global Risk Manager at KKR. Prior to KKR, I was an executive on the Operations Team at Cerberus Capital Management.

During my time as an in-house insurance expert, I partnered closely with deal teams on thousands of transactions—ranging from middle-market investments to large and complex buyouts. My team built what many consider the industry benchmark for a global private equity insurance platform, delivering value across GP insurance, transaction and commercial due diligence, portfolio company optimization, LP fundraising, and product innovation.

Over time, this platform generated more than $4 billion in equity value creation, recovered hundreds of millions in claims, and supported the fundraising of approximately $25 billion in AUM across multiple insurance company investors.

Along the way, I had the privilege of learning from exceptional leaders—former McKinsey, Bain, BCG, and Goldman Sachs executives; a retired U.S. General; the founders and co-CEOs of one of the world’s oldest and largest private investment firms; and countless talented management teams and investment professionals. Working alongside these individuals was both humbling and formative, shaping how I serve clients today—with a relentless focus on value creation, clear and direct communication, accountability, a bias for action, and integrity.

As the Founder of Clarity Risk Advisors, I now advise private investment firms, portfolio companies, insurance companies, brokers, and startups—helping them capture value that is often hidden in plain sight, while bringing clarity to an industry that is too often opaque.

Originally from Staten Island, NY, and Marlboro, NJ, I now live in Dallas, TX with my wife and three children.
